π How to calculate your own exact ratio by weighing
The values above are averages β actual change depends on cooking time, temperature and piece size. For the most accurate result, weigh the ingredient before and after cooking and calculate: ratio = raw weight Γ· cooked weight.
Example β meat: weigh 200 g of raw ground meat. Cook it, weigh again: 150 g. Ratio = 200 Γ· 150 β 1.33 (same as the "Meat" average in the menu).
Example β rice: weigh 100 g of dry rice. Cook it, weigh again: 300 g. Ratio = 100 Γ· 300 β 0.33 (same as the "Rice" average in the menu).
Once you know your own ratio, you can enter the cooked weight and pick the closest menu value, or calculate calories directly from raw weight with "No correction" selected.
